On my lunch hour scroll, I ran across a meme posted by friend, Marianne Piccirilli. It inspired me to throw this together. I didn't write it. The preparation of the video provided a moment to pause and mourn the loss of the man, and grieve ... yet, again ... that we haven't moved beyond this malignant hatred. It goes without saying that the man's treatment and subsequent death was the worst of the video. But, a close second is the fact that no one helped him. Not one of the other police officers. Not a bystander. Not anyone taking video. No one intervened. No one. The hatred. The hardness of hearts. The lack of strength. Conviction. Principle. Resolve.
CoVid-19 isn't the only thing plaguing our society.
