Government largely fails to address our priorities because we don't use our access to articulate them and our franchise and numbers to ensure accountability. Most of us have no problem posting on the internet ... but, fail, refuse, or forget to send an email to our Congressmen and Senators. What's worse is that we don't demand accountability. Government doesn't work because we don't use it right. We let it use us. That needs to change.
But, only we can change it.
