I'm having Puerto Rico after the hurricane flashbacks. People talking about shortages of food, water, and money. The President insisted that all were sent in abundance. Denials abounded. Accusations were made. Lies repeated. We are now finding warehouses full of supplies and the politicians are being prosecuted for the mismanagement of the money and resources provided … and the lies continue to be repeated.
We're seeing that here. Health care workers begging for supplies. Hospitals insisting they don't have them. Governors complaining of ventilator shortages. Lo and behold … tens of millions of N95 respirator masks are being 'found' now that their hoarding has been criminalized … and a warehouse full of ventilators is found in the possession of the Governor complainant.
