Remember several weeks ago when Former Vice President and Democrat Presidential candidate Joe Biden mocked President Trump's concern about China by saying, “China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man...they can’t even figure out how to deal with the fact that they have this great division between the China Sea and the mountains in the east, I mean in the west.” He continued "they can’t figure out how they’re going to deal with the corruption that exists within the system. I mean, you know, they’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what, they’re not, they’re not competition for us.” Biden's characterization of Chinese leaders was particularly puzzling given their commission of crimes against humanity and locking up 1,100,000 to 3,000,000 Uighurs in concentration camp-like facilities where they are dying in large number.
At the time, both sides of the aisle were critical of and puzzled by his statements. Perhaps now we have better "context" for them. I can think of 1.5 billion reasons he wasn't concerned.
