Mazie Hirono actually inquired of jurist Amy Coney Barrett whether she had ever made unwanted sexual advances, requested sexual favor, or entered into settlement for this kind of conduct. Questions that Congress won't answer ... even though their acknowledged settlements were paid for with tax dollars. The scripted inquiry was without allegation or factual basis. It was simply an attempt to humiliate her. It was a question like ... "when did you stop beating your wife?"
