March 2 is Theodore Seuss Geisel's birthday. Dr. Seuss had a profound affect on my life. His books are the genesis of my life long love for reading and the sound and rhythm of the English language. It was Dr. Seuss who taught me that if you can't 'find' a word that 'fits' … it's okay to make one up. Remembering him and all the laughter, learning, and inspiration that his books have brought to my life, my child's life, and so many others like us.
