Glacier National Park

In March 2009, U.S. Geological Survey ecologist Daniel Fagre predicted that the glaciers in Montana’s Glacier National Park would disappear by 2020. The LA Times breathlessly reported that, “Fagre’s current research reveals that temperatures in Glacier National Park have risen higher than was predicted in 1992. The Montana glaciers are now expected to be gone by 2020.” Do you remember how this ecologist’s prediction was used to create climate hysteria? Fuel the ‘greatest existential threat’ conclusion? Bully skeptics? I do. In 2010, Glacier National Park erected signs warning that the glaciers would be gone by 2020 due to climate change. But, in 2020 the park was compelled to change the signs because the glaciers still exist. The new signs say, “[W]hen they will completely disappear depends on how and when we act. One thing is consistent: the glaciers in the park are shrinking.”

Climate alarmists have been scaring you with ridiculously hyperbolic ... ‘predictions’ ... for more than 50 years while hiding behind the word ‘science.’ The predictions have not only been wrong, but in many cases the exact opposite has come to pass. For example, in 2018, the Maldives Islands were predicted to sink beneath the waves due to climate change. But in 2021, the islands have actually increased in land mass … putting the ‘ass’ in ‘mass.’ #beingfrank #blueintheface #FMG ___ * 10 False Climate Predictions for 2020 (pjmedia.com) ___ www.frankcastingmediagroup.com www.frankmulhall.com
