Monday, December 3: Tonight I light two candles in solidarity with my Jewish brothers and sisters grateful for the commonalities in our faith traditions. Our God "is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.” Psalms 86:15. Throughout time that faithfulness has been consistently manifest in both small and great measure but most evident in His covenant concerning the preservation of His people.
Taking time to reflect on that faithfulness this holiday season during the Festival of Light(s) celebrated by my Jewish friends ... for His honor and glory.
