Nighty Report: Stable capacity with beds available in the tricounty area with one exception. State ICU bed %usage is sl. up to 15.3%. Our problem area is Broward ICU beds which are at a premium. A few large hospitals are at full capacity with beds available out west still. So the % ICU beds available ranges from 2.33-19% outside of the few in the Memorial system which are at full capacity. The good news is that general beds for all three counties are available with no stress, esp. in PBC. ICU beds sl. improving in Dade but still at a premium. So all in all despite 10k daily positive tests and daily deaths probably under 100 per day at this point in the state, we are holding up well. The flattening of the curve (with some exceptions!!) thus far has kept the hospital system from breaking down, as we knew it would.
If you don't believe me, then ask: how many public health, city official emergency cries have you heard this week. Zilch, nada, bupkis. That should say it all! Pleasant dreams ____ www.frankcastingmediagroup.com www.frankmulhall.com
