Childish Liberal Indifference

There are few things that progressives are more antagonized by than religion. The Catholic Church has long been recognized as one of the only remaining cultural 'moral authorities'. The Church is the single greatest opposition to abortion and gay marriage. It is altogether hostile to the progressive agenda in most respects. Consequently, progressives have long purposed to undermine religion. But, they have never seized on the most effective means of undermining the moral authority of the Catholic Church. Liberal politicians. Liberal celebrities. Liberal public intellectuals. No one.

Forcing nuns to pay for abortions? No problem. Calling out child sexual abuse? Crickets. I 'wonder' why? (Sarcasm alert)
